Hurricanes in the Atlantic

The hurricane Danielle is now a very dangerous category 4 hurricane, fortunately she is over the open waters of the Atlantic and means no threat for any land, the tropical storm Earl is following the same steps than Danielle and it is expected he can become a hurricane on the next 24 to 36 hours, again no threat for any land. A third area of disturbed weather formed in the Atlantic near the Cape Verde islands off the coast of Africa, it has now a 70% chance to become a tropical depression over the next 48 hours, although the projected path indicates that again it will go to the central Atlantic we better will keep an eye on that one. Have a nice weekend!

Mostly clear sky, current temperature 86°F and 75% humidity. Scattered showers are expected in the late afternoon for the areas of Cancun, Cozumel and Playa del Carmen. Generally very fair weather conditions to make water sports and rest on the beach. Tropical Weather in the Atlantic

Hurricane Danielle is still over the Atlantic ocean and does not represent any danger for mainland so far, the area of disturbed weather near Cape Verde islands is about to become a tropical depression and eventually the tropical storm Earl, the advisories from the National Hurricane Center could initiate later this morning, at that point an official forecast of its path will be released, however according to computer models it will follow the same steps than hurricane Danielle. In regard the low area in the Gulf of Mexico near the coast of Texas it does not have any chance to develop into a tropical cyclone due to the proximity to the shoreline. Have a great Wednesday!
